Hi;

I'm using the pidgeon IM client that comes with the latest Ubuntu.

I have a friend who is contacting from a windows yahoo IM client. Her fonts are really small. Is there anyway I can override her fonts, or anybody else's on MY client to see the conversation the way I want to?

Also, my friend told me that when I am busy typing she sees a funny message "Steve is having 10,000 monkeys typing". Anyone know where I can adjust that?

Thanks

Tools, Preferences, Conversation, uncheck show formatting on incoming

Same screen, uncheck Notify buddies that you are typing to them.

For most clients, you don't show as online.
