Hiii......i have a problem while downloading files through firefox.....
the download speed is limited to 10-15kbps only........mine is a BSNL broadband connection......how can i increase the download speed

Have you tried downloading files from various websites? If not, it may just be the one place which is giving you a slow d/l speed.

No i have downloaded files from many of the sites like 'doregama ziddu rapidshare'etc......till now the speed is the same....

mine is a BSNL broadband HOMEC+ plan (Rs 600/month) with an dwnld/upld limit of 2.5GB n unlimited dwnld/upld from 2:00am to 8:00am.........

I have the same connection at home.
The speed is usually above 150kB/s . But sometimes it is quite slow. So don't worry its not a big problem.
But if it remains like that for more than a day contact the provider- I don't think its a firefox problem.

The speedtest results are:
Download : 1249kbps
Upload : 48kbps..

Well, they seem normal to me. And you can again try downloading some file big file and see if the speed is p to the mark or not.
