Icon previews not being created for all .cbr files

I've got 2 cbr files. I saw that one gots a preview and the other doesn't in Nautilus. I went to Nautilus preferences. I have it set to show icon previews of files <100 megabytes. Both files are under 100 mb. I'll have more cbr files later on. How can I get all the icon previews to show?

I solved this problem by deleting ~/.thumbnails.

Same problem, made more confusing because cbz files are previewing fine.

Can you please explain what this means?
Where do i delete ~/.thumbnails ?

Please give total noob answer - my linux experience is at about 8 hours!
