Hi,
My question is related to how can two users of a machine chat to each other without going out to the Internet? The machine is running 8.04 Hardy. I thought that I install talkd and talk.
"sudo apt-get install talkd talk" will install inetutils-inetd and start that one up, but I see no sign of talkd. There is also an inetutils-talkd package. Does anyone know here which packages need to be installed and what configuration files to be created to make talkd working? I got jabberd running, should I just use that?
Thanks,
Peter
