T-Mobile is going to announce on September 17th the pre-order availability of the Dream to existing customers. People will be able to preorder it the same day and end October 3at 5pm EST. Pre-orders will be received on the launch day!! Unfortunately only postpaid customers with 22 months of tenure for people on a 2 year contract or 11 months of tenure for people on a 1 year contract will be able to pre-order it. Employees, FlexPay or Prepaid customers will not be able to pre-order it either.

Eligible customers will be able to pre-order this device online only via MyT-Mobile.com. The pre-order price will be billed to your T-Mobile account. The pre-order site will only by for pre-orders, customers who would like to buy accessories can do so at T-Mobile.com There is however and upgrade fee of $18. No shipping fee will be charged. You will need a Google account in order for the phone to work.

There is a catch however, as with the Sidekick you will have to add an additional feature to your plan however it is not expensive at all. The first of which is $35 and will include Unlimited Data & Messaging. It is the same price as adding Internet ($20) and Messaging ($15). They also will offer a $25 feature that includes Unlimited Data & 400 Messages for those who do not text very much.

To pre-order the device a 2 year contract is required. There will be no 1 year and full cost of the phone option. So those who would like to get this device at less that full cost will have to wait till the launch date (October 13th) to see if those options will be available.

Color options are Black, Brown and White. Some of the phones features are:

- Touch Screen
- Full Qwerty keyboard

- Full HTML internet capabilities
- Easy access to all Google applications (Gmail, Gtalk, search)

- You Tube
