I'm a somewhat experienced Linux user, and i promised someone i know to install Ubuntu on his computer. (Acer TravelMate 4320)
I burned it to a 700 mb CD-R, With the 8.04 Desktop Live CD. (ubuntu-8.04.1-desktop-i386.iso)
The md5 hash is right, And the Disk check shows no errors.
I boot the live CD, and i Start the installation process.
Everything works like a breeze, until after i select a Keyboard layout.
It starts to load the Partiton manager, then it gives me the "Busy" Cursor.
The Next and Previous Buttons Grey out, and i can't use gparted either.
Anyone mind giving me a hand?
