It looks awesome, I tried to buy one but is actually 124$ dollars i would be ok if the RAM would be higher.

According to the video this is only the entry level unit more netbooks will in the pipeline in this fall. This is pushing other netbooks prices downward, and we could see linux take over the world in our life time.

The ram is sad in that. Other than that it looks alright.

I expect to see much of my community switch to linux. Specifically Ubuntu. I never miss a chance to suggest people look into it. My dad switched over and is happy, and my bro is checking it out in a VM. So we'll see what happens.

I saw this HiVision micro notebook on a linux news letter it get about a week ago.

I have still not been able to find ANYONE who sells it or ANYWAY to purchase one of these units..!!!

Does anyone have a source or an outlet for this so called $100 units???

I have been wondering when MIPS and ARM based notebooks would start emerging. Before I got my eee PC 701, I blogged a wishlist for an 'ideal' ARM-based notebook running Debian (http://ouij.livejournal.com/173585.html). Looks like I was a bit ahead of my time . . .
