I used Crossover to install a Windows program called Algebrator, my problem is I can't find out how to run the program. Apparently I'm the only one with this problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

K dude. I don't know your situation. Assuming you installed it right, Crossover has Windows Programs in the toolbar at the top.
Also, it stores all the information in the hidden folders configuration in your Home directory.
.cxoffice. Or something similar. It's quite obvious, you'll find it. Then you'll see the folder for the bottle you created for your program.
A program like you described should work just fine.
Install Wine as well as your Crossover. Update too.

I opened with Wine and the installation dialog box comes up, asking if I would like to continue with installation, but when I try to click the install button my cursor goes behind the box and will not allow me to access the panel.

Not supposed to be a problem with Algebrator 4.01. Is this your version?

Go to winecfg (terminal) and pick windows 98 and try that. I've had programs run in one "windows" and not another

Dude. Don't give up now.
It's normally something simple. We're helping you as much as we can.
I'm going to find your program right now and try to do it myself.

I can't even respond because my screen resolution changed to 640x480 and I can't change it back in Monitor Resolution Settings because nothing else is showing up.

This is the worst OS I have ever used in my life. There is no possible way to fix problems without reinstalling the entire OS. I was told to run a command by a member, I ran the command, now my resolution is screwed up.

Sometimes people give you the wrong commands. You're running Linux, the best operating
system in the world. Don't blame it on the OS.
What command did you run? It all seems too complicated to you because you haven't done it before. But let me tell you, this is my favorite, and I just started running it 3 months ago.
Just run the live disc, backup your files and reinstall. It only takes 10 minutes, and you know not to run that command again now huh?
I mean,
if someone tells you to run sudo --purge remove ubuntu-desktop and you do it, get pissed because everything is gone...doesn't mean the OS itself is to blame.
You just made a mistake. So get back on the horse my friend, I just got your program working.
Come on.

I installed Ubuntu the day before yesterday and have only had to reinstall it twice since, yea, it's awesome.

I'm sorry Ubuntu, it's not your fault. I still love you.:)](*,)](*,)
