Okay, I'm testing the bounds of "General Help", but here goes.
In my professional life, my work experience goes like this (from current to earliest):
Senior Data Monkey, Company XYZ (2 yrs)
Senior Web Lackie, Company XYZ (4 yrs)
Senior Web Lackie, Company ABC (2 yrs)**
Mainframe Programmer, Company ABC (2 yrs)
My problem is this. Company ABC divested my entire division in 2002. They sold the entire operation to Company XYZ, who (in turn) sold the service back to Company ABC for a 5 year contract. I took another position in Company XYZ before the 5 year contract was up (because I didn't want to go back to Company ABC). During these 6 years, I literally performed the exact same job (more or less). I stumble over a coherent, simple way to get this point across without raising undue flags, making it look like I am padding my resume, etc.
Anyone have any ideas of how to structure this information?
