I am wanting to give Ubuntu Studio 8.04 x64 (Hardy) a try; however, the install process freezes at the point when powernowd is being configured. This completely locks up my computer and I can never complete the installation.
I run Debian Lenny x64 as my main OS but I also have Ubuntu 8.10 x64 and Linux Mint 5 x86 (or Ubuntu 8.04) installed and I have never encountered this problem on any of these.
System Specs:
AMD Athlon 64 3200+
DFI Lan Party nForce4 m/b
