I have a gmail account that i would like to set up with evolution, the default email client for ubuntu. When setting it up i guess i entered wrong information, because i cannot send or receive any of the email test i have been sending to myself.

Under Account Editor, i put the email address i want to link it to in the email address area, and it is entered correctly.

Under the Receiving Email tab: i put the server type as pop, and hte server name as pop.gmail.com. and my username as the email address i am linking to. I am not using any encryption type at this time.

Under Receiving Options tab: i have it check for messages ever minute for testing purposes.

Under the Sending Email tab: i have the server type as SMTP and hte server as smtp.comcast.com. i guessed that this was the correct sever though i have no idea.

If anyone could help me out i would be soo greatful!

Thanxs.
