Hi,
I am upgrading my file server from XP Pro to Ubuntu. I have 3 drives - 1 EIDE drive which is primary boot, and two 500gig SATA2 drives on the SATA controller integrated on the Asus A8NV motherboard with AMD64x2-3800 processor.

*The two SATA drives contain my data, and I would not like to format them.
*the EIDE is the boot drive to which I will install Ubuntu (and wipe out XP)

What is the best way to set up Ubuntu preserving RAID1 and not wiping out the data on the file server driver?

Thank you!
George
