Shows up fine here, but they do show a prompt that they're performing maintenance, so that may be the problem.

i can get to the site by going to a specific video, like http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=linux+tutorial&search_type=&aq=0&oq=linux but only get a blank page if i go to the main page. very weird.

I am not getting a blank page. Inetad they welcomed me with the following sentence: "We are currently performing site maintenance. Be cool - we'll be back 100% in a bit."

The people running Youtube are doing "maintenance work" but the site does come up and is working - as of 7.27am GMT

I think they were having some problems yesterday when I was on there. About 9 in 10 links had the broken link icon instead of the thumbnail.

I have the same problem , its the third day today.
firefox,opera,konqueror and with an imac too!
