I am considering ordering a cheap distro CD, and possibly a preloaded USB drive, since downloading just the kernel is too much for my Internet connection. I don't need the best GUI, just what will run in a general computer with only 128MB RAM, Pentium or Celeron CPU, and 10GB hard disk space. I have more resources than that, but sometimes I work on older computers. I assume I may be able to disable the GUI or something to run with less memory, if I have to? I would like it to include source code, in case I want to make modifications or my own distro in the future. Anyone have advice or suggestions?
