Is there any information about when alfresco lab will be available for usage?

This is a very interesting development. It says it will be demonstrated on Linuxworld (beginning August), is it likely to be part of 8.10?

Many thanks for any info :)

me to am anxiously waiting for this apps to be added to the repo.. after 4 days trying to build it from source and failing woefully .. there seem to be no good documentation on how to install on Ubuntu.

So much for the big fanfare. I'm wondering why they issued this misleading press release at Linuxworld. Very irritating.

I take it there have been no developments on this issue, I`ve been tying to install it following the instructions on the Labs website, but its no good.

Everything is in place but its just not working and for the life of me I do not understand the log files. Have tried to search for this on the Alfresco Labs forums but so far no joy...

Still searching...

If anyone has this running on Ubuntu Server I`d love to hear from you.

Thanks

I have just successfully install alfresco Labs 3 on Hardy 8.04 Server (AMD 64)
very simply - very easily following these instructions.

hope this helps.

Worked well for me too, thanks! I used Ubuntu Server 8.04.2 (32-bit).
