I can't log in after installing ubunto in windows xp

After installing abuntu on my windows xp i wasn't able to log in, i mean; i was able to type my user name (witch is "flakis") after doing that i wasn't able to type my password... i tried every single key on the keyboard and nothing.. can somebody help me out ? thank you :confused:

Hi and welcome, your password will not be shown for security reasons. Just type the password and then enter. :)

Hi and what version of Ubuntu did you install? If you installed the sever version then that is what you have a command line system.
