By style I'm referring to slider, flip, candy bar etc. Personally, I like the candy bar style with the slider coming in 2nd.

I'm a clamshell or "Flip phone" kinda guy. My favorite phone BY FAR was the Motorola Startac.. I dropped that thing so many times it's scary.. It NEVER broke.

I used to be big on flip phones then bought a Blackberry 8130 Pearl. Wouldn't trade it for any other.

I'm hoping to one day get something like an iPhone (but Linux based).

Personally I like an old fashioned mobile. My new one is a Nokia 1208, it has no flippers or sliders, no camera, no IR and no bluetooth. It is as robust as hell, makes calls, sends SMS messages and the battery lasts for ages.

Same here, except I have a VGA camera.

Mobile phones who can surf the web, play music, ... are useless to me.

And they cost too much. Unlike most countries, a phone has to be sold separate from any kind of data plan here, so we pay full price for all phones.
