I have a lot of small files in subdirs, most images. I'd like to backup them in a smart way.

I tried Rsync, but every time it Rescan all the tree of the files!! It's more the time it spends to scan than the time it spends to transfer the changes.

Does exist a daemon/program that uses a registry (or dbus, inotify) that already knows the file to transfer with scan every time a lot of unchanged files?

If you have a cd or dvd burner burn it to disk
