Can anyone explain what to do in Ubuntu network settings?
I have dsl modem/router with one down port.
It service internet and it connected - down port to ethernet swith (5 ports).
From the switch one of five ports is connected to WAN port of wireless adapter (there are two ports LAN and WAN).
I use the wireless adapter (I hope) as subnet for wireless devices.
LAN devices connected to the swith directly(there are three ports for that).

From laptop I can use internet - I use firefox and opera but Skype does not want to connect - always a message about connecting troubles....
Ubuntu 8.04 64 bit Hardy Heron.

I did checks - I have connected the laptop directly to as dsl modem/router as wireless adapter in both cases skype works perfect, but when I put between dsl modem/router and wireless router ethernet switch - skype does not work.

what I do wrong?

Lan from dsl modem/router by DHCP 192.168.1.64-253
ethernet switch uplink 192.168.1.65 / downlink 192.168.1.254

SubLan from wireless adapter by it's DHCP 192.168.1.2-253

Thanks.
