Problem with Partition.

I recently installed on my laptop Windowms XP followed by Ubuntu, without any problems. However, whilst installing Windows I inadvertently only allowed 10gb for XP and the remainder has been taken up with Ubuntu. Whilst I plan to use Ubuntu mainly, I need more space for certain programmes on XP. Question, is there a way of taking space from the Ubuntu partition and use it for XP?

Use Gparted Live CD. Backup everything before you start. It takes a while. Make sure you are not behind an extended partition.
