Hi,

I bought Inspiron 530 slim version and put 64 bit Hardy on it (bought Dos version of Inspiron originally). The issue I am having is that none of the power saving options work (computer does not wake up after hibernate or suspend).
I use Intel adapter (3100?) which came with the computer with analog output, is this antique option causing a problem or using integrated adapter is considered safe in Ubuntu?
Anyone had luck to get Inspiron 530 work with power saving?

Thanks,

Vadim.
