Kubuntu 8.04 with kde 4.1.1 or what?

Well i am thinking of shifting from Ubuntu to kubuntu. Wanted to know whether kubuntu8.04 installation comes with kde4.1.1 by default or no.

And by the way how stable is the newly released kde4.1.1? How stable is it? How many bugs does it have? Can someone tell me cause i want to try it out?

4.1.1 is the most stable release of kde4 so far. Officially it has no bugs (http://www.kde.org/info/4.1.1.php), although some kde4 apps may crash more often than their gnome counterparts. I don't think the default kubuntu 8.04 installation comes with (or upgrades to) 4.1, so you will nede to add a special repository using the official kubuntu instructions (http://www.kubuntu.org/news/kde-4.1.1). This is the preferred method.
