hi
I'm looking to buy a laser printer/All-in-one for our new store. The usage is around 50-70 pages per day.

Can someone recommend a brand/model that save money in the long run? (taking into account the cost of toner, drum unit etc)

What is the difference between drum unit and the toner? Looking at the consumables page of printer, the drum unit can print up to 20,000 pages, whereas the toner only 4000 pages. Are they substitution product or complementary product?

thanks in advance.

Current have the following products in my list:

OKI B4400
Samsung ML-2851ND
Brother MFC-7840W

The drum rotates the paper, and the toner is an ink cartridge. I had a laser for 10 years; replaced toner twice, and the drum once when it developed a scar. The drum cost me $40 and the toners about $30 or so. Pretty economical in comparison to inkjets at the time, which had a higher maintenance cost than laser.

Brother, I'd go with the Brother. I've seen them mature over the years from a retrofitted toaster with a hand crank to a viable Xerox replacement.
