View Full Version : [ubuntu] [SOLVED] Ubuntu 8.10 Alpha 5 ATI working after install

I have finally been able to get my Video Card/ATI working after upgrading to 8.10 Alpha 5. I had to UN-install all proprietary driver for ATI and then ran the screens and graphics and now after reboot I keep my screen resolution and was also able to turn on Compiz!! :) I have some crashes from some packages but no show stoppers. Everything seems to work so far! Well back to Beta testing.

I have a ATI 9600SE/ 128MB/ AGP.
