View Full Version : [ubuntu] Hardy Heron and Studio won't detect my HD!

Hi there!

Im recently converted to Ubuntu, and I got really excited with Hardy heron and, as a graphic designer, I was blown away with UbuntuStudio.

Now, I tried at least 5 times to install each one of them, but they won't recognize my HD. After I set up the name of my PC in the network, it displays a list of drivers, but no one works.

I did a Partition from windows, even in FAT32, and still won't work. Any ideas?

Here is a step-by-step of the install, but im unable to get to the partition section:

My specs are:

Pentium 4, 2.40Ghz
1 gb RAm DDR
Windows Pro XP SP3
2 Hard drives of 80GB each
Video Card NVIDIA GeForce 6200 of 256mb
