This is a problem that has frustrated me to end lately because there is nothing I can do to fix the problem, yet it seems so easy to fix. Has anyone (with an nvidia graphics card whose graphics driver was installed via envy) been able to successfully install linux-rt and then boot into it without a xorg error? If so, have you also been able to boot into generic whenever you wanted without experiencing xorg errors once again? For some reason, I cannot boot into linux-rt if I have envy's graphics drivers installed through the generic kernel and vice versa. If any of you wouldn't mind, could you try install linux-rt and booting into both linux-rt and generic? I would like to see if the problem is just with me or ubuntu in general. Like I said this problem has been picking at my brain for the past couple of weeks and it's really been getting to me so all the help would be great.
