I just discovered that Winkey + M in Gnome inverts the screen colors instantly, and pressing it again reverts it back to normal, creating sort of like a 'night theme'. I find this really cool and I wonder if there are other commands that I don't know of.

It wasn't included on any of the Gnome keyboard shortcut lists I could find, so I thought I'd ask you people...

The negative screen thing is actually an effect provided by Compiz not the standard Gnome desk top - hence it not being in the shortcut guide. Still good question tho!

Ha! Good point :) I haven't touched Compiz since I upgraded to Hardy so I completely forgot about it.
