I've just installed Ubuntu 8.04.1 on my new Fujitsu-Siemens AMILO Xi-2428 laptop. But there is very annoying problem. Sometimes Ubuntu hangs up until i press any button or move mouse. It happens wen i install ubuntu, start, work, shutdown. It seems there are problems on the ubuntu core level.
I've tried with XUbuntu and KUbuntu but results the same. Can anybody help me or suggest a fix for this problem.
Laptop Hardware:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo T9300(2.5 GHz, 800 MHz FSB, 6MB L2 cache)
Chipset: Intel 965PM+ICH8-M
HDD: SATA 250G(5400 rpm/8MB cache)
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS
