Hi there,

I am trying to install Ubuntu 7.10 on my laptop (ASUS X80N, AMD Turion64 processor), it has NVIDIA nForce 610M chipset and Geforce 7000M graphics card.
The problem is Ubuntu is unable to recognize the graphics card and always return to text mode.
I tried to choose the card type as Nvidia Geforce 7 series but that did not work also.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
