Hey,

I'm kinda new to this so bear with me. I've downloaded Ubuntu and got it up and running (I think!). I'm not sure if I done it right but this is what I did.

1. Downloaded the installation from the Ubuntu web-site.

2. Put the Win-RAR *.iso portion of the download onto disc.

3. Uploaded the program with the disc in and it seems to be running.

Is there a way to check that I did this properly and that I am running with a complete program?

I have internet and e-mail access.

If you booted the disk; you should have a menu with several options. I think the third is 'Check Disk'

Did you burn it into the Disk. I mean the ISO?

If you burnt it properly, then are you able to boot from it and get the initial List?
