How would you like to be a firefighter and run around with a sprinkler on your head? Maybe old ladies will start calling the fire department when they want their daisies and petunias watered. :roll:

well in all accounts it made sense as there were not too many fire resistant materials back then.
Asbestos was the most popular, and look how that turned out
