Hi,

I had kopete installed for a long time and had created a custom shortcut for it using kmenuedit. Recently i removed kopete and installed pidgin and wanted to reassign the shortcut. but kmenuedit kept saying that the shortcut is already in use. Is there any way for kmenuedit to check if all the existing shortcuts point to installed applications?
If there is not then is there any way I can ENFORCE kmenuedit to delete existing shortcut and remember the new one ? Because I had to manually go to the kde config file (~/.kde/share/config/khotkeysrc) and edit it myself. This doesn't seem like a nice way to do it...

thanks,
