View Full Version : [ubuntu] [SOLVED] How do I access another w32 drive folder in Virtualbox XP

I just installed the Sun Micro System VirtualBox and have XP running on it (and way faster than natively). Next I added Dreamweaver MX 2004 so I can work on my websites.
How do I get VirtualBox / XP gain access to another physical drive I keep all my website folders and .html/php etc files on?

You need to share this drive with your virtual guest OS (XP) using the VirtualBox tool. This drive needs to be mounted in your Ububtu. If it is not mounted you will need to mount it first.
The VirtualBox User Manual is great. You will find everything you need about VirtualBox in it. You can access it from the Help menu. Search for 'share' and you will get all the information that you need.
