The joys of spreading Ubuntu to Windows users!

Yesterday at work I was talking to a couple of friends that I have about Linux. One guy was kind of curious and I told him that I would bring in my live cd that I have so that he can try it out. He said that he would, I thought cool. I just turned someone on to Linux hopefully. Then a couple of hours later I was talking to another friend in my shop and was talking to him about Linux and he asked what distro that I used. I told him and he wants to try it as well. So by talking about how much I enjoy using Unubtu I got 2 people to at least try the live cd. So it goes to show that you dont need to preach, and shove it down peoples throat.

Exactly, you can see how true that is in a lot of ways. If you shove Vista down someone's throat, they won't want to use it, either. ;-)

Very true and nice job. I have converted a few people simply by mentioning it and it really peaks people's interest.
