Hello,

I'm new to Ubuntu Desktop and I'm having a bit of trouble. I use the chat site at http://chat.bbad.com and I am having trouble connecting to it from Ubuntu Desktop. That site uses software called 123 Flash Chat and I'm not even able to connect to that software's demo site at http://www.123flashchat.com/demo.html.

I've installed a couple of different flash plugins but none are able to connect so I'm suspicious of a networking issue, possibly a default firewall preventing outgoing connections of that sort.

Can someone offer some advice? It would be very helpful if you could tell me if you are able to connect to that site from Ubuntu. Thanks.

Regards,
Reg

Flash chat works perfectly for me, am using Opera 9.60 and Flash 10rc3.

Wow...works perfectly here, too. So Opera works and Firefox doesn't. Annoying, but I'll take it. Thanks very much for the suggestion.
