Hi

I am running Ubuntu 8.04. Firefox 3 and Epiphany browsers were crashing randomly when going to pages with Flash. I found a suggetion to go to Flash Beta 10 instead of Flash 9. Upon doing so I now cannot view video from the Google Video server (Youtube and others work fine). When I revert to Flash 9 I can see video from Google but no sound (in all videos, from Youtube and others).

Any ideas on how to fix this issue.

greetings!
flash 10 works much better for me. using both firefox and opera.
amazingly, no issues so far.

make sure to completely remove flash 9 before going to 10? (you know it's gone when it doesn't show up in tools > add-ons > plugins)

don't know if it matters.. I have phishing protection disabled.

Also consider the possibility that extensions could be causing problems. maybe disable them and see if anything changes.

Are any other apps open when you start firefox and can't hear any audio? Pulseaudio still has some issues. I have the package libflashsupport installed to combat this problem.

hope that helps somehow.
