[SOLVED] Dual boot ubuntu/vista with 3 partitions

I have vista installed on a 50 gig partition and another 248gigs that are unallocated. I wanted to put ubuntu on a 30 gig and use the rest for storage.

I've seen several threads on how to dual boot, but it would put ubuntu on the whole 248gigs.

I'm not sure how to do this, should I use vista to make the other partions?

Any help would be appreciated.
