NICs fail with 7.10-8.04 upgrade

I did the upgrade to 8.04(.1?) yesterday & upon the restart, neither NIC was operating. They had been working with 7.10 otherwise I wouldn't have been able to do the on-line upgrade (& yes, they work upon booting into *******). Any ideas?

Since it appears no one has a clue as to what happened or what the fix might be, maybe someone can tell me if it's possible to rollback the upgrade to 7.10.

Holy Clamity! What do you, in Windows, when, you 'download/upgrade' a bad driver?
Roll-back driver, simple, isn't it?
And, you can't do that,right........with Linux!?!
Or haven't you tried it?

Coke77, if I was an expert like you, I would have rolled it back, if I knew how. But since I'm a relative newbie with Linux, I have to rely on the good graces of experts like you to direct me.
