Hi,
I got a new convert during my missionary work and persuaded him to try to use Ubuntu instead of Windows. And he needs to type both in Vietnamese and Japanese from time to time. Japanese IMEs in SCIM are ok, but he says SCIM Vietnamese IME sucks and he'd prefer to use UniKey for Vietnamese input cause he's been using UniKey in Windows. There's an X UniKey available, that's cool. In most of the GTK apps it's not a problem as you can right-click in the input field where you want to type and choose any input method from the list, but not in Firefox and a few other applications. Is there a way to switch between IMEs with keyboard shortcuts or by placing a tiny cute icon in the tray? I'm in danger of loosing a fresh convert!
