Please forgive me if this is old news, but I have been trying to find a way to use Wubi to install any version of Ubuntu or I suspect Xubuntu to a Dell Inspiron 5000e. I have only 192 MB of ram, and to update this 8 years later isn't affordable. I have a new 60 GB hard drive, with 2 partitions - a Win2K C: drive of about 33 GB, and the rest is a 26 or so GB drive that I want to put the Xubuntu image on. I can't use this with only a Ubuntu OS, since Ubuntu does not play well with any of my PCI or USB network cards. I have tried two different PCI cards and 2 different USB NICs.

Thanks for any help I might receive.
