Just got an Asus Eee 1000, and put on the Ubuntu-eee distro. I've been using Ubuntu for @ two years now, but it's been a while since I did a fresh install.

Anyway while writing up a (very) n00b-friendly how-to, I noticed that step 6 of 7 in the graphic installer is, ah, not there. Oh, it installs and runs fine, but the self-contained pagination skips from 5 of 7 (enter name, login name, password, and computer name) right to 7 of 7 (final check, advanced option to change bootloader options.

Looking around a bit, I found that someone ELSE'S how-to (also geared to the Eee, incidentally), complete with screenshots, shows the same thing! See for yourself: http://www.simplehelp.net/2008/07/28/a-step-by-step-guide-to-installing-ubuntu-804-hardy-heron-on-your-eee-pc/

What's going on here? Was a page eliminated from the graphic installer but the pagination never updated?
