I just wanted to let everyone know that I was unable to use the live video feed of last night's Democratic Convention because my browser was "incompatible." Even after switching to Firefox 2, I was unable to view the video stream. I believe they are using Microsoft Silverlight to give the video. I have also heard of this "Moonlight" that would allow me to see Silverlight content on Linux.
I have already emailed the convention requesting that they make their video coverage readily available to Linux users with either a quick "How-to" or link to another non-silverlight presentation.
If anyone else would care to, I would suggest you do the same. It looked really good on my windows box. They have it streaming in hi-def and everything. I would prefer to see it on my Ubuntu machine though.
