Reinstall Ubuntu & Mandriva

My laptop has 3 OS'es and I want to reinstall 2 of them, Ubuntu and Mandrake, cause I do to much modification that the system somehow unstable. I'm planning to redistribute the partition also, because right now it's a little messy.
But I don't want to disrupt my Win XP installation, since all my work data is there.
Is there any good way to do this?

Boot up the livecd and use gparted to clean up your partitions, just don't touch your windows partition.
