I had forgotten about this, can't remember when I registered but it a fair while ago, number #253004.

Since then I have been looking for a linux distro that I can understand (and like) it has taken till now for me to find Ubuntu and get something I can replace windows with. After more than 10 years playing with linux, my pc is windows free and can stay that way.

After a given amount of time, if a user hasn't updated their profile, the counter assumes they aren't a user anymore. But it doesn't reuse the number, in case they come back.

So it would probably be better to say there are 149,782 active users.

the linux counter site seems to be down. Any idea for how long now, why and when will it be back again?
