Hey there!

Is it possible to install Ubuntu on an SDHC card? My PC has a built-in slot for SDHC and I'd like to install Ubuntu on that. Before I run off and get me one of those bad boys, can somebody tell me if it's theoraticaly possib;e to install Ubuntu on it.

Thanks!

I think it would be possible, but I would rather use USB. Why? Because they have a guide for installing with USB-sticks. Also see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/FromUSBStick

its definately doable.

still its well known you wont get any performance boost out of it..

someone might be able to explain why better, but flash access isnt as fast as we think it is..

you shouldn't setup the swap partition there. these drives have a limited ammount of writes before they die.
