i was fixing my grandmothers computer and i got curious...so i took the heatsink off the cpu to look at it. i put it back and replaced the ram. after that i couldn't get the computer to start up so i figured it must be the ram. so after about a week i realized that i could have put the cpu in there wrong so i took a look and i did. man was i lucky! i could have broken the cpu! :lolflag:

i think the hd has died though...this is the slowest format i have ever seen. well cept that time i tried to install ubuntu dapper (complete with gnome :) on a 128 mb ram 333mhz machine. that was the longest two days ever lol

Sometimes taking a while to think of other things and clear your mind tends to help ;)

/me just had one of those "Oh, that's why" moments
EDIT: If you want to know, I accidentally saved a CSS file to the wrong location and was majorly biffed because uploading it via filezilla wouldn't update the page

i hate those times...like the time i couldnt get my speakers to work...and realized they weren't plugged in

Been there, done that. Another good one is plugging them into the wrong socket.
