Hi,

I want to install Linux Mint over my Ubuntu partition. However, I have windows XP installed, and have two 80GB hard drives connected together but are considered to be one by my computer. Because of this, my XP partition leaks into HDD 2, so I can't completely erase a hard drive. I'm trying to manually partition my computer so that Ubuntu is 100% removed after Mint is installed. How should I go about? Attached is a picture of my options.

Your screen shot looks good. Installed that way Mint should install over you Ubuntu partition. (which I guess is sda2).

How did you get the two drives to look like 1? Ignore anything I just said if you are using raid.
