installation help

i just installed ubuntu 8.04 server on my HP mininote from a usb flash drive. the installation went fine, but i cannot boot into the installation unless the usb flash drive is plugged in. is there a quick fix for this? or do i need to reinstall?thanks in advance for your help.

Your Grub is half in your internal and half in your USB drive. Better reinstall and at the partitioner (step 7 I think), go to Advanced Tab and choose where to install Grub.
