Recently I installed KDE 4.1. I would have been happy to keep it on there, but since the install, Skype has had some rather annoying problems.
I could receive video, but the control buttons on the window are no where to be found. Furthermore, my webcam became unable to send out video, although it worked without fault prior to 4.1.
I was using KDE 3.5 when I experienced the fault.
I uninstalled 4.1 and removed every package related to it. The camera started to work for a while, then fail. The video window itself, however, is still messed up. Even more strange, the theme I had set with KDE 4.1 is still being used!
How do I fix this? Do I need to reinstall?
