Long story short:
BBC model B (Basic) then Acorn Archimedes (RISCOS) then Apple OS9, 10.2, Panther and Tiger.
I utterly despise MS after the demise of Acorn and Apple's rise seems to be accompanied by a rise in corporate arrogance.
Don't misunderstand, I love OS X but I'm curious about Linux. I don't like grubbing about in the command line so Ubuntu seems like the way to go.
Also, I'd like to be able to help PC using friends apart from just saying "Buy an Apple!"
So hello to everybody. I've had warty on a Thinkpad 600e for a while and i'm now trying breezy and hoping to get some sound (aren't I the optimist!) I've also got a G3 pismo that's going to be badgered up as soon as the new drive turns up.
